Science of Higher Sense Perception – Dragon's Web

Science of Higher Sense Perception – Dragon's Web: Science of Higher Sense Perception on Dragon's Web

“Equipped with his five senses, man explores the universe around him and calls the adventure Science.”Edwin Powell Hubble

The Science of Higher Sense Perception

We all know that we have 5 basic physical senses being; sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell. These senses can operate at a normal level or a person can develop those senses to a much higher degree, either through training or naturally. But we have other senses as well. These senses come from our mental and spiritual natures.

Using guidance from the study of metaphysics, I have identified these senses as a basis for exploration:

Mental Senses:

  • Rationality
  • Perception
  • Memory
  • Motivation
  • Responsibility
  • Imagination

Spiritual Senses:

  • Self
  • Connection
  • Serenity
  • Enjoyment
  • Control
  • Achievement
  • Morality
We often talk about our higher senses, but science pays them little or no attention other than through the treatment of ‘mental illness’ with the use of tranquilisers (anti-psychotics as they call them) and other pharmacology.
Our Mind recognises,  records and co-ordinates all of these senses as distinct from our brain that processes the physical interactions. The brain is like the ‘hard-drive’ and the mind is the ‘software’ that processes the ‘data’ stored in ‘memory’.
Within each of these grouping there are sub-sets of senses that feed and support, or detract from, the main sense group.
Each of these senses are crucial in the understanding of myths and legends if we are to understand their hidden messages and importance in achieving what Abraham Maslow called ‘Self-Actualisation’.
There are other mental and spiritual senses and the list may expand as my understanding grows.
Click on each of the links above to get further understanding of each of these senses.

Myth of Mental Illness – Dragon's Web

Myth of Mental Illness – Dragon's Web: Myth of Mental Illness on Dragon's Web – The Myth of Mental Illness “If you talk to God, you are praying; If God talks to you, you have schizophrenia. If the dead talk to you, you are a spiritualist; If you talk to the dead, you are a schizophrenic.” – Thomas Szasz, ‘The Second Sin: Schizophrenia (1973)

This quote from Thomas Szasz, a leading psychiatrist and outspoken critic of coercive psychiatry, summarises society’s attitude towards people with an alleged mental illness.

He went further in his book ‘The Myth of Mental Illness‘, saying that mental illness was created as we moved out of ‘The Age of Faith’ into ‘The Age of Reason (Madness)’ with the rise in power of science as an influence on social thinking.
His work is “based on the principles that each person has the right to bodily and mental self-ownership and the right to be free from violence from others”.
It is beyond the scope of this post to provide enough evidence of the fact that ‘Mental Illness’ is a myth created by society to keep certain members of our society under control. All I can do is provide you with some information to think about and pointers on where to find more information! People under the ‘care’ of our psychiatric services deserve better assistance, not further abuse.
As we have moved out of The Age of Faith, we can no longer torture and burn witches and heretics. In The Age of Reason, we assess them as being deviant and requiring treatment to make them ‘normal’. They are incarcerated in ‘Treatment Facilities’ and given ‘psychotropic drugs’ to stop them from thinking. We label them as ‘Insane’ and strip them of dignity.

Our current model of treatment and care

Psychiatry is a sub-branch of Allopathic Medicine and, as such, is based on the belief that disorders and malfunctions of the human body are caused by a disorder, or imbalance, of the chemistry of the physical form. With this belief structure, psychiatry believes that a person’s thoughts and behaviour are determined by a person’s inner chemistry. In effect this removes responsibility of the person for their behaviour as they have no control over their chemistry and are a victim of the circumstances of heredity. Their DNA inherited from their family determines how they will think, behave and act.

Setup a free Web Hosting Business with ResellerPanel

My Problem

A little while ago I got a message from my website hosting service saying that my shared hosting website was using too much server resources and I had to upgrade to a more expensive package.

As the website I had developed were like a hobby for me, I wasn't seeing a lot of traffic and certainly wasn't earning any money from them. So, they suspended my account.

This meant; no emails and no more time spent developing my interest. What to do?
Had to come up with a plan!

My response

I let go of my hobby and decided I had better things to with my time! A couple of months later, my laptop's motherboard shorted out and would no longer 'boot up'.
Walk away!

The solution to my problem

After 3 months, I decided to buy another laptop. ($250 from a refurbishment service)

Bought a SATA docking station so I could retrieve some of my data. ($30 from a good supplier)

Started searching through 'Dr. Google' for a new hosting provider. Found a few promising candidates and then did a search for 'Free Hosting' (because I didn't have a lot of money to spend) and saw a site for 'Free Hosting Resellers'. Modified my search and came up with 3 promising candidates.

The one I chose was 'Reseller Panel'.

What they offer:
  • Free server setup
  • Free rights to sell their products branded as mine
  • Competitive hosting rates similar to the major players
  • Free Domain Manager (one click registration)
  • Domain registration service
  • Scalable hosting packages
    • Shared hosting
    • Cloud hosting
    • Semi-dedicated servers
    • Dedicated servers
  • SSL Certificates at competitive prices
  • One click 'Website Installer'
  • Email Manager
  • Hepsia Control Panel (so simple to use)
  • Affiliate Program
  • Marketing tools
  • Great Support (longest I've waited for a response to my many questions was 20min)
Then came the difficult bit!

Choosing a new domain name to host this service. One click search with a range of alternatives and options I could proceed with.

I changed the 'Nameservers' on my original site and I was back in operation within an hour.

A couple of hours setting up the 'Wordpress' template (hosted on my new domain) and this was the result. mydragonweb.com

Total cost was $75 AUD for the domain registration (which I own) and 12 months hosting. Not a bad investment to start a new business.

I'll keep you posted on how it goes!
