Setup a free Web Hosting Business with ResellerPanel

My Problem

A little while ago I got a message from my website hosting service saying that my shared hosting website was using too much server resources and I had to upgrade to a more expensive package.

As the website I had developed were like a hobby for me, I wasn't seeing a lot of traffic and certainly wasn't earning any money from them. So, they suspended my account.

This meant; no emails and no more time spent developing my interest. What to do?
Had to come up with a plan!

My response

I let go of my hobby and decided I had better things to with my time! A couple of months later, my laptop's motherboard shorted out and would no longer 'boot up'.
Walk away!

The solution to my problem

After 3 months, I decided to buy another laptop. ($250 from a refurbishment service)

Bought a SATA docking station so I could retrieve some of my data. ($30 from a good supplier)

Started searching through 'Dr. Google' for a new hosting provider. Found a few promising candidates and then did a search for 'Free Hosting' (because I didn't have a lot of money to spend) and saw a site for 'Free Hosting Resellers'. Modified my search and came up with 3 promising candidates.

The one I chose was 'Reseller Panel'.

What they offer:
  • Free server setup
  • Free rights to sell their products branded as mine
  • Competitive hosting rates similar to the major players
  • Free Domain Manager (one click registration)
  • Domain registration service
  • Scalable hosting packages
    • Shared hosting
    • Cloud hosting
    • Semi-dedicated servers
    • Dedicated servers
  • SSL Certificates at competitive prices
  • One click 'Website Installer'
  • Email Manager
  • Hepsia Control Panel (so simple to use)
  • Affiliate Program
  • Marketing tools
  • Great Support (longest I've waited for a response to my many questions was 20min)
Then came the difficult bit!

Choosing a new domain name to host this service. One click search with a range of alternatives and options I could proceed with.

I changed the 'Nameservers' on my original site and I was back in operation within an hour.

A couple of hours setting up the 'Wordpress' template (hosted on my new domain) and this was the result. mydragonweb.com

Total cost was $75 AUD for the domain registration (which I own) and 12 months hosting. Not a bad investment to start a new business.

I'll keep you posted on how it goes!

Until then click on the link below for your opportunity.
